Lodge Kühlungsborn
The Lodge Hotel is a small, exclusive boutique hotel in the famous seaside resort of Kühlungsborn, known for its elegant promenade, the 6 km long sandy beach, good water quality and its inviting boat harbour. The lodge is located in Kühlungsborn West and is therefore a quiet retreat between the lively promenade and the newly emerging villa district, which you pass on your way to the Riedensee. In its unspoilt natural surroundings, Lake Riedensee is a popular destination for excursions - as are the lighthouse in Bastorf, our surfing destination Kägsdorf and Rerik on the cliffs, which is steeped in history.
The Bäderbahn Molli, a steam-powered narrow-gauge railway that started operating in 1886, connects Bad Doberan with Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn and is about a 10-minute walk from the Lodge Hotel.
This Molli or the bike rented next door will also take you to the Deck Beach Club in Heiligendamm in no time at all, and the sunset on the terrace with cocktails and carefully selected snacks and specialities is not to be missed.
The hotel has been freshly refurbished and renovated - as has the restaurant, which is located on the ground floor. We now also offer a balanced breakfast for our guests there, so that nothing stands in the way of a good start to the day.
In all our stylish and modern rooms you will find a hairdryer, a safe for your valuables and a kettle with a small selection of coffee and tea, which can of course be used free of charge.

Booking
The exclusive seaside resort of Heiligendamm is a district of Bad Doberan and is located directly on the Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Due to the white classical buildings along the beach promenade, the district is also known as the “White Town by the Sea”.
Heiligendamm - Germany's oldest and most elegant seaside resort - was founded in 1793. The high nobility of Europe and later many prominent guests spent their summer holidays here. In addition to its unique location directly by the sea, this area has always been favoured for its climatic advantages such as sea-fresh and dust-free air, low temperature fluctuations, the absence of high and low tides and the lush surrounding beech forests. Today, the area by the sea is occupied by the Grand Hotel.
In June 2007, the 33rd summit meeting of the G8 heads of state and government took place in the Grand Hotel, making Heiligendamm internationally famous.
Just 6 kilometres from the Baltic Sea, the town of Bad Doberan is surrounded by beautiful beech forests. It is one of the oldest German settlements in the state of Mecklenburg. Classicist buildings characterise the town centre, with the most famous building in the town being the cathedral, or rather the minster.

Our deluxe double rooms (approx. 25m2) are comfortably and stylishly furnished and offer the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The 180 cm wide double beds are equipped with 4 pillows and a comfort size duvet (240 x 220 cm). The rooms have an internet-enabled flat-screen TV and a desk, as well as a well-stocked minibar and a private bathroom with shower. There is also a cosy area with a lounge chair and additional seating directly in front of the stunningly large windows.
Deluxe Penthouse Suite
Our Deluxe Penthouse Suite is located on the top floor of the hotel, is comfortably and stylishly furnished and offers the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. In addition to free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a desk, there is also an elegant living area with a reading corner, small dining table and cosy corner sofa, as well as a well-equipped kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with shower.
Single Room
In our single room (7m2) you have free WLAN, as well as a flat-screen TV, a desk, kettle and a small private bathroom with shower.
Single Plus
Our “Single Plus” category (9m2) consists of stylishly furnished single rooms. They are equipped with a queen-size bed (160 cm wide), which is why they are also popular with younger couples. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, desk, kettle and private bathroom with shower.
Standard Double Room

Deck Beach Club Heiligendamm
The Deck Beach Club is located directly on the cliffs of the Baltic Sea, between Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn. It can be reached from the Lodge Hotel by bike in about 10 minutes, by car in about 5 minutes and on foot in about 30 minutes.
The uniqueness of this place is its exclusive location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by a beautiful beech forest and with a spectacular view over the Baltic Sea.
